A Decade In Media & Strategy
I'm a media and strategic communications professional with ten years of progressive experience across television, digital publishing, journalism, corporate communications and multimedia production — combining strategic communications leadership at the Africa International Housing Show with executive oversight as General Manager of Housing TV Africa.
01The Journalist
My reporting career runs through some of Nigeria's most closely watched beats — State House, the National Assembly, and the power, works, housing, infrastructure and education sectors. I wrote scripts for Infrastructure Weekly (aired on Core TV, Channels TV and NTA), compiled over 60 senior-editor-endorsed stories at Lagos Television, and have reported on housing and the built environment across more than 30 Nigerian states.
02The Strategist
At AIHS I lead publicity, editorial content and stakeholder communications — writing and editing news stories, press releases, speeches and executive correspondence, running campaigns across social, digital, print and broadcast, and managing high-level interviews with policymakers, CEOs and industry leaders.
03Beyond The Byline
Outside the newsroom, I write poetry — 28 published pieces exploring love, loss and identity. I'm also a Sickle Cell Warrior and Advocate, a Global Citizen Activist, a HundrED Ambassador, and a member of the Nigeria Union of Journalists.
